In 2021 I began the business starting out converting my own van. I have always had a passion for van life and quickly became immersed in every aspect of the lifestyle. It is priceless to have the ability to travel wherever, whenever with all the equipment I would need, packed comfortably in the van alongside any appliances whilst having space remaining for relaxing to take in the view of the Scottish highlands or a comfortable bed to crash in after hiking in the lake district.
During the pandemic the van life scene exploded and became what it is today with the mass of new demand for travelling without needing to go on a plane journey. This simple way of exploring the countryside in a quality van that can be comfortably driven in comparison to a motor home. Even since the pandemic has been greatly suppressed the peak in popularity around the van life world has remained, because of this I’ve been able to expand my business in such a short space of time.
Jumping forward to the present day in 2023 I currently have multiple staff working on the customer’s vans alongside me daily, we’ve also upgraded to a larger unit and work is being actively done on 2-3 different vans per day to get our customers on the road exploring as efficiently as possible.
Here at Life and Dream we pride ourselves on innovation and our high standards of craftsmanship. Me and my team will happily help any customer from start to finish of their van conversion including sourcing parts, fully equipping the vehicle with all the electrical, plumbing and gas needs and creating a comfortable, bespoke living space, shower room and sleeping area. All working to create the perfect van that the customer has designed with our assistance.
We plan to continue growing rapidly whilst always playing our part in the community as a reliable, friendly van conversion business.
